Regina also enjoys many natural features for new energy production and specialization. 

The Regina area is home to the world’s largest solution Potash mine and is at the centre of Saskatchewan’s Potash deposit country. New potash mines planned or announced in the immediate area have provided more evidence to support the pervasive optimism in the City. Regina is increasingly becoming the home of major and junior mining and resource companies across the range of Saskatchewan’s natural resource rich economy.
