Both national Class I railways, Canadian Pacific and Canadian National serve our Region. The Canadian Pacific Railway also operates the Class I line to the USA cities of Minneapolis and Chicago.

Passenger air services are provided by nine carriers, Air Canada, Westjet, Northwest, United, Delta and five specialty regional carriers.

All air passenger planes provide air freight service and in addition a cargo-only service is provided by Purolator twice daily for a wide range of courier and freight forwarders.
