Utilities

Utility rates for both personal/residential and business use are competitive to other western Canadian jurisdictions.  Below, one will find the rate cards for SaskPower (electricity), SaskEnergy (natural gas), and SaskWater (water).  Of course, these rates may change based on approved changes by the individual Crown corporations. You can click on any of the three links above to view the websites of these utility distributors.

SaskEnergy - Natural Gas
Natural gas is very widely available in Saskatchewan including many small communities and farm locations from SaskEnergy also a publicly owned and regulated corporation. SaskEnergy’s rate structure includes a basic monthly charge, a delivery charge and a commodity charge. Marginal commodity charges are currently $4.55/GJ.
