Communities near the City, but far from ordinary

The Town of Balgonie is a long established town full of pride and a rich social and community life.  Located 25 Km east of Regina on the Number 1 Highway, the community has been growing steadily for the past number of years in both residents and businesses. Balgonie is home to the largest rural high school and longest running outdoor swimming pool in the province.

The Rural Municipality of Edenwold is a diversified and rapidly growing rural municipality situated in the beautiful countryside near Regina. The municipality comprises a wide range of agricultural, residential and commercial developments, including several out-door recreational facilities. The RM is home to the quaint village of Edenwold as well as the prestigious Emerald Park community and Aspen Village Golf & Country Club.

The great communities of the Regina area include the Town of Balcarres, located just east of the picturesque Qu’Appelle Valley in the heart of beautiful prairie. Balcarres is proud of their new Integrated Care Centre that opened in October. 

The quaint and historic Town of Qu’Appelleis located midway between the City of Regina and the lakes of the Qu’Appelle Valley. This is laid back small town living at its finest. This is not a town for those people who wish to get away from it all, to merely escape the big city. This is a community for people who want to give themselves to the future success of a town and where everyone looks out for everyone else.  

Indian Head is a beautiful, middle sized prairie town nestled snugly in the flat prairie grainlands of south-eastern Saskatchewan. The town is anchored against the mainline of the Canadian Pacific railway at the junction of the trans-Canada highway (#1) just 70km east of Regina. Indian head is noted for its attractions and beautiful scenery. The town’s beauty is also enhanced by the Research farm and Shelterbelt centre with their many picnic areas and hiking trails. Indian Head enjoys an active business community with quaint shops nestled in between historic buildings.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Regina Plains, an area famous for its vast tracts of land, open skies, and abundant sunshine, lies the community of Milestone. The Town of Cupar, with a population of approximately 625 is located on Highway #22, just 75 km (40 minutes) northeast of the capital city of Regina and 45 km (20 minutes) from the scenic Qu' Appelle Valley and it's Calling Lakes. Cupar's beautiful tree-lined streets are paved and curbed. Cupar is a place where people care about one another and cherish a safe environment.
