Regina's labour market middle of the pack nationally
A new survey by the Conference Board of Canada predicts Regina's labour market will remain stable in the short term.
Surveying 27 census metropolitan areas in Canada, the board puts Regina square in the middle of the economic pack with Vancouver and Victoria.
The survey predicts that employment will rise in the short term in 19 of those CMAs, including Saskatoon. It predicted employment would fall in only five: Quebec City, Trois-Rivieres, Que., Ottawa-Gatineau, St. Catharines-Niagara in Ontario and Abbotsford-Mission in B.C.
