Bring Information to Visitors

"Info on the Go" is a roaming information kiosk being introduced this summer by the Regina Regional Opportunities Commission (RROC) and the Regina Downtown Business Improvement District (RDBID).

It's one in a host of other options for tourists and residents to get information about the city and its features and attractions considering the visitor services centre on the east side of Regina is no more.

"We were looking for a better way of connecting with people," said Larry Hiles, RROC president and CEO.

"We want to have two-way communication with people that visit here and we want to be able to respond to any questions they might have and ask them what are the things we should pay attention to."

All the services that used to be available at the visitor services centre are now available from RROC at its location downtown on Rose Street.

But the roaming kiosk takes it one step further.
