Creative City Centre launched
With the help of generous patrons and volunteers, one woman's labour of love has turned an old office building into a vibrant arts and cultural centre right in the heart of the city. Marian Donnelly formed the non-profit Inner Circle Creative City Development Corp. and spent the last year or so transforming the space into an arts and cultural community centre.
Located at 1843 Hamilton Street (above Loggie’s Shoes), the Creative City Centre is an exciting new addition to Regina’s downtown. Home to a variety of artists and arts organizations, the Creative City Centre will offer all of Regina a new place to experience creativity in many forms, including music, theatre, film screenings, fashion design, literary and visual arts.
The Creative City Centre is home to a fashion design collective, visual artists and arts-related organizations. Created to be a hub in the downtown area that provides artists a space to create and collaborate and engage the community in arts and culture through a myriad of new programming and activities.
