Progress2Capital Competition Heats Up

The finalists have been chosen. Today the eight finalist teams will pitch their business ideas and try to impress the judges during five minute limo pitches as the competition heats up.

The Progress2Capital Business Planning Competition was launched back in January. Over the last five months, competitors have undergone an intensive business planning process which included training modules, networking and mentorship with local business leaders, and development of comprehensive business plans. Now, as the competition reaches its peak, finalists are down to the most crucial opportunities to make an impact on the judges. After their limo pitches are completed, they will give formal presentations to the judges on June 2 and 3.

Finalists will be judged on the strength of their business plans in addition to how well they perform during the limo pitches and formal presentations. The winner and runner ups will be selected next week and will be announced at an awards reception Monday, June 6 at the Casino Regina Show Lounge.
