RROC goes mobile
The Regina Regional Opportunities Commission (RROC) is proud to announce the launch of their recently developed new website and mobile website offering. The new website, reginaroc.com was created to replace the two websites of the former organizations that formed RROC in 2009; Tourism Regina and Regina Regional Economic Development Authority (RREDA).
Users will find that the new website contains all of the information that was previously found through the two sites. The site was tailor made in order so that RROC could unite the information that would meet the needs of those who, live, work, visit and invest in the Regina region. It also features a clean new look, the community brand, additional search capabilities and an easy to navigate interface. “RROC’s primary platform for communication with visitors, residents and businesses will be online, and a solid web and social media platform is our first step in that direction,” said Larry Hiles, president & CEO of RROC.
In order to provide mobile users access to information such as event listings, RROC developed their new mobile website that can be accessed with any web-capable mobile device, like a smartphone or tablet computer. In addition, to make it easier for mobile users the site will share the same URL as RROC’s main website, reginaroc.com.
RROC’s mobile site will feature much of the same content as the main website, though the focus has changed slightly to accommodate the mobile format. The mobile homepage will feature news stories and upcoming events, and provide the opportunity to access a condensed version of the extensive information available on the website.
