Regina Pats
The Regina Pats have been entertaining hockey fans in Southern Saskatchewan for over 90 years, making them the oldest junior hockey franchise in North America. With a season stretching from mid-September to the playoffs in April, the Brandt Centre is home to some of the best junior hockey in Canada. The Pats have been a pipeline if talent to the National Hockey League, with 115 players drafted into the league since 1968. They have also provided the most players to Canada’s World Junior team than any other junior team as well. Learn more.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Carve out your watermelon helmet, paint your face green, and join the legion of the Canadian Football League’s most fervent fans as they pack Regina’s 30,945-seat Mosaic Stadium to cheer the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Every game, Rider Nation unites in a deafening sea of green, drowning out all others, even on the road. The club’s century-long legacy continues to rise as it generates some of the league’s highest attendance figures, while engineering a new era of on-field success. Learn more.
